What I do

I support live theatre from fit-up through to show running, working across lighting and sound. I’m comfortable operating shows, responding to issues as they arise, and working closely with stage management and performers.

Technical Experience

Lighting
Experience using ETC Eos family consoles in live theatre for programming, including timecode, pallets and effects, cue-based operation, rig checks, focussing, and live performance operating. Recent work includes designing and programming over 480 lighting cues for the University of Leicester Glee Show 2026, see projects tab, including timecoded and OSC controlled performances. Additional experience includes working with complex rigs and followspot operation using both conventional systems and RoboSpot on major touring shows.

Sound
Experience operating digital mixing consoles for live theatre, including Sound No.1 responsibilities on musical productions and concerts such as Glee. Comfortable mixing dialogue and vocals, fitting and monitoring radio microphones, and using tools such as TheatreMix to manage large casts during performance.
